HOW WE WORK

You've decided you want us as your photographer! We THANK YOU so much. 

So, what do you do now? Here's the details...

1. Contact us. Email or Facebook message is probably the best way to get in touch, but you are welcome to call us as well. No matter which way you choose, know that either Chris or Laura will get back in touch with you as soon as possible. More than likely, you'll be speaking with Laura. :) 

2. Once we chat and get all of your details, we will explain how we schedule, our availability, any deposits that are needed, and we will get all of the needed information for your session. We will email you over an Agreement Form (contract just sounds so, formal, right?!). 

3. We will need you to fill out your portions of the Agreement Form, then return that back to us, along with any required deposits. We will provide you with our address at this time. 

4. Once we receive those items, you're all set! 

Now we wait until your session gets closer

While it probably seems like it's been forever since we talked, we promise we do have you on our schedule and we will be in touch as your session nears! 

Laura will contact you anywhere from 1 month to 1 week before your session, to finalize details of the day, give balances, and answer any questions you may have.

Session day is just as it sounds. Have fun with it! 

We will meet you at the decided upon location, set up, and start our time with you. Please arrive with your first outfit (if multiple) on. The best advice we can give you is to RELAX. Make it fun. Don't worry if the kids aren't cooperating. Don't panic if you forgot a prop. It's all okay. Whatever we have to work with, you'll look back on these photos for years to come and laugh at the mishaps, find joy in the fun you had, and smile at the wonderful memories you made. 

Sessions always start out a little slow and sometimes "awkward." But no worries, we'll all get to know each other and then the session will become much easier! We're pretty easy to get along with. :) 

Your session is done! What next?

Most of the time, right after the session, it's a waiting game. We shoot quite a lot of sessions. Especially Seniors. During our busy time, we aren't editing much while we're shooting, because we don't have time to do both. But once our season slows down, we start editing like crazy and play catch up. Seniors are edited beginning in January. But don't worry, they will be done in plenty of time for graduation things. This is how we've done it for many, many years, and it always works out well! If your session was not a Senior session, it will still be a bit of a wait for editing catch up, but if you refer to your Agreement Form, it will outline the details. Some sessions, like Minis, work differently. Those will all be explained as needed. We will also explain this on the session day. If you have a time constraint, talk to us. 

If your package includes prints, you will refer to the IMG numbers found on your proofing gallery to the corresponding prints, when giving your order to us. 

We are lenient on the ordering timelines, however, we try to stick to those as closely as we can. Those are detailed on your Agreement Form.
